THE WINDOW STORY SO FAR
Those of you who have been visiting the shop, may have noticed the different window displayS since Christmas. What people may not be aware of, is the ongoing storyline behind these displays.
After Christmas it showed the New Year celebrations of a young couple. These two 'people' got engaged on Valentines day and in March purchased their first house. They attended church over Easter to announce their Banns and are currently in the window getting married.
Taking 12th scale to a time measure, each month has been a year, and I have a feeling that there may be a baby on the way, so we will have a nursery theme during May/June. July/August will see a lovely holiday scene, and if you keep up to date you will see what happens next.......
If you cannot get to the shop, I intend to post pictures from the window going forward. Unfortunately I did not think to take pictures earlier, and many, many people have commented about our Halloween window.........so I will try to keep you updated!!

We offer a complete renovation service so if you need your whole house re-painted,decorated and lit or if you just need us to put lights in or put in skirting , cornice and picture rail ,give us a call for a free estimate.With lighting houses we charge for the labour and the customer buys the lights and wiring system separately,this is because the lights vary so much in price and everyone has different tastes in decor.

The pictures shown are of a house we gave a complete makeover to. As you can see we had to take off the existing paper first then re-paint the outside in textured paint and put real slates on the roof.This customer just wanted basic decoration as she wanted to add skirting board and cornice herself.

A rough guide to our pricing
Building only, from a kit - depending on size £50 to £200
Wallpaper and carpet a built house - £15 per room (includes standard priced paper and carpet)
Wallpaper, carpet, skirting and coving/picture rails - £25 per room (includes standard priced paper, carpet and mouldings)
Lighting only - wire, not copper tape - £7.50 per room (you buy/pay for lights, socket set and transformer)
Wallpaper, carpet, skirting, coving and lighting - £30 per room (plus lighting requirements)
External decoration is dependant on whether paint, paper, cladding or real brick slips, tiles etc. used £40 ++
