THE WINDOW STORY SO FAR
Those of you who have been visiting the shop, may have noticed the different window displayS since Christmas. What people may not be aware of, is the ongoing storyline behind these displays.
After Christmas it showed the New Year celebrations of a young couple. These two 'people' got engaged on Valentines day and in March purchased their first house. They attended church over Easter to announce their Banns and are currently in the window getting married.
Taking 12th scale to a time measure, each month has been a year, and I have a feeling that there may be a baby on the way, so we will have a nursery theme during May/June. July/August will see a lovely holiday scene, and if you keep up to date you will see what happens next.......
If you cannot get to the shop, I intend to post pictures from the window going forward. Unfortunately I did not think to take pictures earlier, and many, many people have commented about our Halloween window.........so I will try to keep you updated!!

We are a friendly family owned business situated in a 15th Century property within Britain's oldest recorded town. We focus on the retail of dolls houses,furniture and accessories and also specialize in restoration, building, painting,decorating and lighting for all types of houses.
While you are in Colchester there are many interesting and historical places to visit such as Colchester Castle Museum and the surrounding park area.

THE MINIATURE DREAMS SHOWCASE HAS MANY NEW ARTISANS EXHIBITING, AND IS BECOMING A GREAT DRAW TO THE SHOP. AGAIN I HOPE TO HAVE PICTURES SOON.
